Muse is one of those little independent boutiques where I always find lovely shoes and accessories. The last three times I’ve gone in that damn store I’ve bought something, either for a friend’s birthday or for myself. (Hmm, there’s a lesson in there somewhere…).

I won’t be up for any photography awards any time soon but you get the drift.

If you’re in East Bucks, there are stores in Berkhamsted and Rickmansworth (neither of which I’ve been into but I imagine a lot of the stock is similar) and there’s also one in Thame (south Oxfordshire), where I took these photos. Price points are pretty reasonable – the gorgeous, supersoft peeptoe pumps at the top of this post (now, ahem, nestling my feet) were £65 and jewellery hovers mainly in the £20-40 bracket. Definitely worth a gander if you’re shopping locally. www.muselifestyle.co.uk
