The transfer of power: Cat, winner of the Mint Velvet bag comp, about to move her worldly goods to the new bag

I received this email yesterday and was so chuffed that I’ve put it on the blog. You see - people do honestly WIN these prizes!! So if you haven’t already followed me on FaceBook, or entered through twitter for the £275 Juicy Couture bag competition, do it NOW! There’s only two days to go before I pull the winner.

For twitter, all you need to do is to post a tweet that says

@muddystiletto @cocomarieuk #iwantthisbagbecause (and your reason here – eg because I deserve it/because I’ve had a bad year and need something pretty to cheer me up/whatever).

Then Retweet it and you’re done. Will take, ooh, 5 seconds.

Anyway, I digress! Here’s the message from Cat from Bicester, the winner of the Mint Velvet slouch bag competition.

‘So above (see pic) are the contents of my old handbag, ready and willing to transfer to my beautiful new bag!

Both old and new are in the shot but you can tell that photography is not my métier.  

I’m taking my beautiful new bag on its first outing tomorrow as I’m headed off to the Waddesdon Manor Chocolate festival tomorrow (yum but must save space in it to fill with dark chocolate covered Orangette!) and then it’s coming out for cocktails at Angels in Oxford with some of the girls.  Not quite sure what it will be drinking but I’ll be having a dry as sand vodka martini with a very large twist and toasting my fabulous good fortune.
